Growing up in the SF Bay Area I got started in the bass world playing with my brothers Paul(Guitar), Alex(Drums) during the 90s and 2000’s.
This was a time of growth as musicians as we emulated many bands, improvising as a trio and played our own originals around the SF Bay area.
Around 2019 I started composing my own music under the artist name “Circadia Rift” the music can be described as a form of “Darksynth” with Progressive, Metal and Jazz influences.
In 2020 relocated to the Denver area and continued my bass playing and composing journey which also includes delving into the world of Video game composition.
Over the years I’ve played in many bands in many genres: metal(tech death, Brutal death metal, prog metal etc), rock, funk and cover bands, tribute bands, jazz ensembles to all originals. I’ve also had the opportunity to tour with Metal bands since 2017.
I’ve studied with some bass greats notably: Tony Grey, Damian Erskine, Rufus Philpot, Michael Wilcox and Evan Marien.
I am an active learner of all things BASS from improvising, extreme metal technique, transcribing lines, Jazz studies and learning new material constantly.
With 35+ years of bass playing experience I hope to share it with you.
